UVU vs JLS - Week 17

A very good result for UVU in the only Head-to-Head game today. Iccy kept himself in with a chance of reaching the top four, possibly top three or two with a 2-0 home victory over current 4th place LASK Linz.

The win means Iccy will go into the final Four games of the season Two points behind the Top Four, Five behind the Top Three, and Six behind the top two.

Iccy does play away at 3rd in his next match, so it could be a huge chance to possibly secure that Top Three/Two spot. All the rest of his remaining games are against the guys from UVU, apart from the cup final at home to SV Ried.

SV Ried could have made sure that it would be a JLS manager winning the title had he won away at 2nd placed Sturm Graz, however he lost 1-0 and is now only 10 points above Iccy, however it looks certain that the other crew will win the title anyway. He will have another chance tonight when he takes on Bottom of the Table Luke. Yet to reach double figures for the season.

However he did record a massive win today in one of the all UVU clashes, he won away 0-4 emphatically at David, whilst in the other UVU encounter, there was another 4-0 win as Ionel beat Ben, to jump above his opponent and Kapfenberger SV, as they were held 0-0 against Rapid Wien in the other all JLS match-up.

So Iccy still has a big chance of securing a place in the top three, or possibly two by the end of the season, and with his next game against Rapid Wien whom are 3rd, it makes it even more interesting.
