UVU vs JLS - Cup Final

Iccy won the cup in style at home to 2nd placed SV Ried with a fantastic 3-1 victory.

He has now played in two battles for UVU, and won the cup in both. Going into the game Iccy was the highest ranked UVU manager in the league (5th) whilst SV Ried were the second highest ranked side for JLS (2nd).

The game was always going to be a big one, with both sides fighting for a valuable 100 points in the Crew Battle.

Luckily for Iccy, he led the game since the 2nd minute. Janko scoring a fabulous goal to make it 1-0.

The Cameroonian striker Mahop doubled the advnatage just before the break, and made the win safe on 62 minutes, as he made it 3-0. Hackmair did get a goal back for SV Ried but it wasn't enough as UVU took the cup.

It will only prove to be a consolation however for UVU after JLS have already comfortably won this contest, but Iccy could still gain a few places tonight in the Final round of fixtures.

Three Head-to-Head's on the Final Day. Luke will play away to Kapfenberger SV, David will play away at Sturm Graz and Ben will also be away, at SV Ried.

Iccy will host Ionel in the all UVU clash and hope Rapid Wien win away at LASK Linz in the all JLS encounter, as he continues his search for the top four.
